What is Direct Primary Care?
Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a membership model for primary care. Instead of billing insurance for each visit, Mountain Peaks Family Practice charges one flat monthly fee ($99 for most adults) that covers routine, preventive, acute and chronic care, same- or next-day visits when clinically appropriate, and direct contact with Dr. Robert Durrans through the member app. Membership is not health insurance; members keep coverage for hospital, emergency and specialist care. Mountain Peaks has served Orem, Provo and Utah County since 1999 and begins membership-based care on December 1, 2026.

Children are enrolled under an enrolled parent's membership.
A household membership covers up to two parents and four dependent children through age 26; larger households, please contact the office. Prepay 12 months and receive a 1-month discount. Membership payments qualify as an HSA expense, and FSA funds may qualify as well; check with your plan administrator.
